Entrepreneur Decision Making, Founder Mindset and Human Design For Entrepreneurs: Clear Signal
This is a place for generic “business advice.” It’s for founders navigating the transition between an old operating model and a new one — the place where what got you here won't get you where you're going. You probably don't jive with traditional business dogma and are done with one-size-fits-all formulas. This is a place that explores what happens when we lose touch with our own signal in a sea of noise...and how to find it again.
**
Topics: Implementing strategy sourced from a "different quality of intelligence" for clearer decisions, inspired action and grounded outcomes. We talk resonance-based marketing, harnessing our unique flavor of influence and managing the pressure around complex decisions. It's for those building something that matters and for whom mind, body and path alignment is a non-negotiable.

Your Impatience is Profitable [E62]
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
If you know you’re at a turning point but the direction isn’t clear, Alchemical Advisory is where we fix that.
This isn’t about more strategy.
It’s about removing what’s distorting your signal so your next move actually makes sense.

[00:00:00] Welcome to Clear Signal. Today's a quick episode because this is an unedited episode, and it's not done on any special software, so if I make a mistake, the whole thing has to be scrapped. So let's not do that. I just saw a post on Substack, and it was from an entrepreneur.
By the way. I am Sunita Kumar everywhere now. I'll link it in the show notes if you can't get the spelling. But that's where I'm at, Substack Linktree, YouTube, and eventually .com,
i'm not super active on Instagram or Threads, but I'm also there. And he said that
, He was talking about his business, and he was talking about how he was successful and how he has a lifestyle I want. A lot of people on Substack are selling this lifestyle-focused business because a lot of the audience there are writers. So [00:01:00] But he said a sentence that struck out with me, and I wanted to repeat it because I think it dovetails very well with the episode I just did
and he said, "I am patient in a world that profits from your impatience." I'm gonna say that again. "I am patient in a world that profits from your impatience." And so I'm intentional with everything I do, and sometimes I don't actually know what I'm doing in the moment. I just have enough clarity to take the next step.
I have a episode that clarity is not the destination. It's just the key to the next chapter. You're gonna hear me say that on a lot of podcasts that I'm a guest on because that's my saying, and it is true. People are looking for this light bulb of clarity And it doesn't work that way. You take the next step.
However, you can be intentional with what you do, and one of the best ways for me to be intentional is to be slow. It's built into my design. I'm a [00:02:00] one line. That's also built into my astrological chart. And the last episode, I shared what I did with a guest about how I chose to run this podcast in beta for two years, and I said, "Who does that?"
Beta will be the end of May. So when the time I recorded that, which was February, I still was not quite there. That is a very intentional, patient move. That is doing things the way that I wanna do them in the way that I wanna do them, because I'm building a category of one in the work that I do, but also in the podcast I'm creating.
And so I got two challenges with that. Number one, I gotta wait for the world to catch up to me which is a process. And number two, I'm not necessarily gonna have the same tactical guides that another person would have You are a fitness coach. You do pr- in-person personal training. You wanna scale that to [00:03:00] a virtual personal training program.
There are gonna be 10,000 coaches who you can hire who've done that exact model, and who are gonna tell you what to do, and you can follow their formula. Now, whether or not that formula's gonna work for you, I can't say. That's not a world I know. But that is way more formulaic than what I'm doing. I'm talking about tools that people do not talk about publicly, selling them to an audience that hasn't traditionally worked with them, creating a podcast that bridges multiple categories And I'm a podcast guest where I'm the guest at a intersection of multiple topics.
That is where the puck is going. That's not where the puck is right now And one of the things about being a 5/1, who is a visionary practical problem solver, is it took me until this age to realize I'm a visionary because didn't trust myself, because I looked to the left or the right of me and no one was where I was.
No one was thinking the way I was thinking. No one was doing what I was doing, and I listened to people I shouldn't have listened to. Not in terms of influence, but just like, "Oh, well, [00:04:00] no one else is doing this, so why should I do it?" So the next episode after this is category one, and I didn't plan that when I got on the mic.
So like I said, I do everything in flow, but it's intentional. And so that'll speak more to the marketing aspect of category one. We just talked about category one from something else. I don't know. I recorded that in '25, and it seemed like a good episode to drop in. And what I just said speaks very well to the episode I just did with that gentleman, Andrew Jones And I did it for a reason and I explained it to him.
And I'm not asking you to do things my way because that would not make sense for most people, but what I'm saying is that the world is going to, , profit from your impatience. The world profits from your impatience. This tactic is gonna solve your problem. This framework, this guru, this platform, this hack.
You've gotta do this, you gotta do that
And the world is speeding up, not only from an energetic [00:05:00] perspective, but with an AI. And so the speed of the advice is speeding up. The speed of the tactics is speeding up. The noise is increasing There is a Buzzsprout feature where you can text me in the show notes. It's anonymous. If you do not feel that whatever platform you spend your time on, in whatever category you're in, in whatever business you're in, and you're a business owner, and you do not feel that the noise is increasing, I want you to text me, and I want you to tell me that.
Now, I'm not saying you have to listen to the noise, but collectively the noise is increasing. And so collectively, we have to become even more discerning about what is right for us and what is the plan we wanna be on And what is our plan of attack? To use a corporatism And so, like I said, I don't have editing capability on this, so I'm not gonna press my luck.
But I wanted to name that. Noise increasing. Clarity is not the [00:06:00] destination, it's just the key to the next chapter. People profit from your impatience
And intentionality is gonna look crazy until it doesn't. Often in a category one, you are going to look crazy until it doesn't. You have to follow your intuition and not what society's gonna tell you t- to do, and that is something that I didn't realize that other people are unwilling to do. I've done that my whole life
There's an episode coming up on invisible rules. By coming up, I mean sometime in 2026. There's an episode on building your foundation your way. I mentioned that. And then there's an episode on the root center I already mentioned.
Whether or not they drop now or later, I wanna make sure it's clear that I didn't forget that I said that. The root center episode has to do with adrenaline, pressure, and time, and other people's sense of urgency. Invisible rules, dovetails lots of stuff I talk about. And then building a foundation your way.
That's kinda what I alluded to right [00:07:00] here And then there's a fourth episode I mentioned, which was the season intro, an episode I alluded to in my car. I'm not gonna drop that episode. A bit snarky, not the best quality 'cause it was in my car. It actually wasn't snarky, but here's the thing. It was speaking to amateurs, and I'm not seeking to...
I'm not speaking to amateurs. I'm not selling to amateurs. When you're talking to your audience, like, who are you? Who's your buyer? You should talk to them. You should speak to them at the level they're at, and I think what I was doing there, it was a little bit of a cautionary tale about the amateur hour in the Human Design world, and how everyone has now decided Human Design is a cool thing to tack onto their coaching toolkit, and they have no fucking idea what they're doing.
And it was a cautionary tale about that, and I was like, "You know what? That's not my client. My client is very discerning. And so why am I wasting my time? Why am I wasting space on my platform? It doesn't matter." ... I'm a 5/1. I am fuck around and find out first, sadly. You have to be extremely discerning and I cannot be discerning for you. [00:08:00] That is a skill you have to learn But just ask questions and, don't just go with what is the window dressing, as I said on Andrew's podcast. That is what people look to. That is your rodeo to ride on this journey of the business entrepreneur alchemist path you're on.
That's not mine to do for you. So there's that. We'll talk about category one, we'll talk about niche. I got some great podcast episodes with other people, meaning guests, collaborations, case studies, other things. A little bit more of a focus on marketing and much less of a focus on the mechanics of Human Design.
From my point of view, I've wrapped that. I have a couple of episodes that didn't make it. Root center episode being one of them. Ironically, the root center is about pressure and time, and that root episode has decided it is on its own timeline, so we're gonna allow it.
We'll drop it in whatever. This podcast could switch to, I don't know, talking about football, and we will [00:09:00] drop in the root center episode because it'll decide it wants to drop when it wants to drop. Ways to work with me in the show notes. Clarity Edge is my main offer right now, and that is for you if you are done spinning your wheels.
You know that something is off. You know you're at a threshold. You know you're at an evolution point, and you're like, "I'm done fucking around and finding out. I have worked with tactics that were not a fit. They've actually confused me more, and I know that I'm either going in the wrong direction, or I know that I'm not taking action because I'm not in the right direction."
And you know that I'm the reason that we'll get you to the other side of that. So that is what Clarity Edge is. More information in the full sales page, and if you have any questions about it, you can email me. My email is also in the show notes and also in the link tree. By the way, last episode that I did with Andrew, I mentioned an [00:10:00] offer that I did for podcast, podcasters.
That's good whether or not you have a podcast, you speak on podcasts, or you speak on stage. If you use your voice in any way, shape, or form as part of your brand, that offer is open to you. I will link that in the show notes. If the payment link still works, it works. That's a Notion page, so it's always gonna be casual.
Even when I get a formal website, that thing will never be part of it. It's an asynchronous offer. That is a don't walk, run to get that offer. It is practically nothing in the way that I work with people, and it'll set you up, and you do that once.
That is a one-time thing. You have that for the rest of your life. Your business changes, the podcast you guest on, the stages you guest on change, your audience changes. That doesn't change because that's you
I'll see you soon
