In this episode (in line with the theme of all the Birthday episodes dropping this week), I share a story "inspired" by a random Youtube video with Kris Jenner — and how her desire to take break the rules sparked a memory from an earlier chapter in my life.
This is the 1st of a series of 8 episodes dropping over 8 months connected by a recurring element👀🐣
⏱️Right on the heels of the 9/9 episodes, we travel back in time to '99 (yes that was on purpose)
Note:
💜This is a "axis" to my earlier episode re: Manifestation, $100K and Coffee. If that episode was about:
1) Divine trust and passing the "test" of trusting when you are f*cked financially (and still taking risk!).
2) Letting the universe show you the possibilities -- and that it has your back.
3) Gratitude is the missing link...
🧡Then this 👉🏽 episode is about full on conscious reality creation.
You want it?
Throw out the playbook of what is possible and what people tell you is possible/ you need to do.
🔥Then go get it.

I think this will probably be the first and last time in my life where I'm gonna say I was inspired by Chris Jenner to do this story, and I'm dropping this episode because I have an episode I already promised you guys that probably dropped yesterday on nine, nine, maybe a double. And in that episode I dropped a special birthday special.
At the time this drops, there is one slot left, so take advantage and I'll be promoting that on social media today and tomorrow. I have not done that other than a random note in my stories, which we'll talk about in this episode. . One and done. Never gonna come again for my birthday because it's a special go backwards to go forwards.
Because of my birthday last week, but also because of the brand that started four years ago and the fact that it started on eight eight.
If you listened to yesterday's episodes, you know why? And there'll be a special episode tomorrow related to this episode. So there's quite a lot of content in a short amount of time. And then I'll take a break and I'll let you guys catch up. And it's kind of an intense time right now, so let's have a light episode.
And so what is this episode about? Yes, it's about Chris Jenner. Yes, it's about a story for my life, but what's the point of it? It's the point is that when you wanna go after something, we talked about the heart center. The heart center has a will, not willpower, but like will to do something. And when you wanna go after something in life, no matter who you are, no matter what your design, no matter what your goal, you gotta first identify who makes the decisions.
You gotta then find out what other people say to do. You gotta then ignore what other people say to do. And you gotta act before you can overthink it. And sometimes acting before you can overthink it means you don't actually know any better.
And it really relates to a lot of this stuff I've been talking about over the last couple of episodes to find Heart energy, heart energy in general, Leo Energy, Aries Energy. This episode is not about astrology, but I happen to mention on on the podcast, it was recorded a couple of months ago. Seems like a nice fit, and like I said, this was recorded a couple months ago, so I was reminded about this.
I have so many episodes in the archives and many will never see the light of day, but I was reminded to pull this one out. Because last night on Instagram in my stories, , I'm not really active on Instagram, but in my stories, I posted a photo of a mug I got from my first job as a gift. When I got hired out of college, it was a wink in a nod to, Hey, I'm so old and I'm doing a special birthday for my 48 birthday special kind of a thing.
So this is the job, ironically, that is mentioned in this podcast and that mug. And it has an old computer screen on it if you're old enough to remember those old computer terminals, very robotic writing. And , it's a picture of a terminal with my name on it, and then instead of an actual mouse, there's like, like instead of a computer mouse, there's an actual mouse attached.
And that's the joke, right? So I randomly saw this mug the other day. I took a photo, put it up on social media, and it reminded me of this episode. I'm like, damn, we're gonna pull it back. . And this episode and the story that I tell has a lot to do with. What I've talked about lately, initiative, not worrying about what other people think.
Being the leader of your own life, being the author of your own life, not worrying about other people are gonna think about, the choices that you make. And this story is a prime example, and there's a number of layers to this story, meaning that. You are gonna find that there's a number of future stories and future podcasts that stem from this one, and they're all kind of related.
You're gonna see kind of a theme that flows throughout, although they will be standalone you'll see a pattern. And finally, one quick thing is I mentioned to someone in this episode and I called them an NPC, which I don't think is a derogatory term,
by the way, after the incident I mentioned they were fired for fraud. So they were actually a bad apple, and I knew it, but that's. Neither here nor there. This episode is not about that double episode on nine nine yesterday. One of them was spiritual and one of them was astro related, and that's because I wanted that to flow through so we could get into the new version of the podcast, but sometimes we have to go backwards to go forwards and talk about going backwards to go forwards.
This relates to the first job I got out of college, and I talked about this earlier in the spring when I talked about Saturn moving into Aries and how that related to me graduating from college and getting that job. So in February when Saturn enters Aries again, we start a new cycle and this is about the prior cycle.
So let's go backwards to go forward. Let's go back in a time machine and travel back to 1999.
All right. Here's a story. The other night I'm washing dishes and sometimes I listen to different things online when I'm doing chores, and so my hands are occupied, right? So there's a short playing or there's some thing that autoplayed, I couldn't change the YouTube and Chris Jenner is on there.
Okay. From the Kardashians. I don't watch this shit. Okay? She's on. Some podcast, it was like this manufacturer thing. I think she bought a bunch of podcast companies, so she was like a guest on this like no name podcast to like elevate this podcast talking about her brand. She's talking about how she was a flight attendant back in her day.
I don't know much about her, but she was a flight attendant and she wanted to like
do the, the LA route. I don't know where she, where she was based somewhere else and how like it takes years. To get that route and like no flight attendant newbie is gonna get that route. And somehow she got that route. I don't remember. But here's what happened in my brain. What locked in is this notion of d Lulu is the, so Lulu, I've said before, this notion of initiative and this notion of sometimes the less you know, the better off you are.
That's what this story is about. So let's go back in a time machine. And I had talked a lot about Saturn entering Aries, and that was some of the early astrological content I'd done. . And I talked a lot about Aries is the first sign of the zodiac.
Aries is the fool. Aries is the pioneer. Aries is a risk taker, and often in business. Knowing less is knowing more, because we don't stop ourselves. We don't know any better, and that's why young people will often just do cool things, especially in the new paradigm with the internet and TikTok and stuff, because they're like, why not?
Why not make a complete fool of myself online and make a million dollars a year? Why do I have to get a job? Because , they were raised in a different. Mentality that I'm sure the most of people listening to this podcast, and I admire that. It may not be my world, but I admire that.
Right. So in this podcast episode, we're gonna talk about initiative. We're gonna talk about a couple stories to illustrate this point, and then we're gonna tie it back to you. And the reason I'm thinking about this is around the time that this is gonna drop, Saturn has left Aries or is on its way out of Aries.
It's gone in the other direction and it's gonna come back in February. And like I've always said, 2026 is game on for all of this. And so what's being asked of all of us right now is to really be like, what do I want Saturn? What do I want long term? And what is it gonna take to go after and get it Aries?
What are the risks that I'm gonna have to take? So in my brain, when I saw Chris Jenner and she talked about airlines and she, my brain. Merged together multiple memories from the time I was one years old to the time I was like 25 years old. And we're gonna talk, we're gonna talk about it. So. Earlier on in some of my content, I've talked about this notion of NPC non-player character.
It's true they're gonna be people in your life that are NPCs. They're there to be in your way to block you, and they frankly don't matter.
And that could be people who comment online, that could, people who, when you say you're gonna do something, they kind of scoff. It could be whatever people, I believe the universe puts in your path to be like, , what? What do you really want? Okay, so here's a story. So I had talked a lot about when Saturn Winter entered Aries the first time, and I had said, okay, I graduated from college in 99 and I'd already landed my plum job.
I wanted this big five consulting job that I landed. But what I didn't say is the reason I wanted to work specifically for a big five consulting firm, this was the heyday, this was the quote.com era, is I wanted to work internationally immediately. I was like, I'm gonna go work in Europe like now. And that's something that nobody gets to do, right?
You gotta earn your stripes as an analyst and do whatever bullshit you gotta do for years before you're gonna get a European assignment or a foreign assignment or so. That's what people told me. And one of the things about being young with a defined heart is I never listened to anybody else's bullshit about what was possible.
I decided what I wanted and I went after it. And that's what Chris Jenner was talking about. She's like, I don't care what people said. Like, you can't get this la you know, station, you gotta put your time in as a flight attendant for years. And I dunno the end of the story, 'cause as soon as I could, I turned her off.
But the point is, is that I think she was able to, to land this and it taught her a lot about, you know, there are rules. And then you break the rules. And that's what Aries is about and that's what Saturn is about. Saturn is about what are the rules that you place on yourself because other people tell you that that's what you have to do.
So one of the things that happened, this was right after I graduated from college, is that you go into training. It was kind of like this free for all you can imagine. . Just scandalous, right? You've got, , starting classes from all over the country and all over the world, meeting in a hotel on an expense account where, and some of these people have like left home for the first time, especially if they're from another country.
Open bar. Absolute debauchery. Some of the best days of my life. Okay. I'm not much of a partier now, but I used to be. And , the first couple of days of the training were in New York. And with , kind of like your crew, and then you got sent to a different location to train. , I mean, this was the heyday, like I said, of the like, you know, open bar, expense accounts, fancy hotels, like you name it.
Like, it was crazy, right? We were like right outta college. Definitely, , some of the best times to be working in that industry, the, the hayday of that industry. So, long story short, we got placed in random training facilities. So my whole class was gonna stay in Atlanta, and I randomly got picked with a couple other people to go to Chicago.
To do some random bullshit. It was like, , ERP, if you don't know what ERP is, it's enterprise Resource Planning. Backend shit. Okay. , And I was like, I don't wanna get trained in this stuff.
'cause I was like, the future is the internet. The future is.com. The future is whatever. I kind of hilarious okay, so I got placed in a different class and I was like, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. We're not gonna do that.
So I go to human resources, and they were the ones who recruited US college, recruiting, hr. And I was like, I, no, this is not gonna work for me. I wanna be in my class. I just bonded with these people. My New York class. For a couple of weeks, and now you wanna send me to like another city and then these guys are all gonna bond together and then I'm gonna miss out on networking opportunities.
I was like, we're not doing this. And they're like, oh, we'll see what we can do, yada, yada. You know, just like, we'll figure it out. There was one week in Atlanta, which was this powwow.
And then we were all gonna get sent off to our various things, so I didn't have much time and I knew that once they put me in a different training and, and paid for that training, they were not gonna move me. So I had a very small window of time to get what I wanted. So this is famous. Okay. This is a famous thing that I did.
I asked people who makes the decisions around here, okay. And they pointed to this woman, her name was okay. She, I'm not gonna say her name. She was the managing director. I did not know this at the time. She was the managing director for the New York office for a big five consulting firm. I cannot tell you how important that is.
Then she became the managing director for the US and then she became the managing director for North America. She was a big fucking deal, and at the time she ran the New York office, which is a big deal. I run up to her. 22-year-old just graduated from college and nobody, and I stop her in the hallway and I'm like , yeah.
Like they have me on this training schedule to Chicago and it's not gonna work for me. Like, can we move me to Atlanta? Please and thank you.
And I don't know what balls of steel that girl had. People were like, do you know who that is? , And it worked.
I don't know what she said. I dunno what she did, but my seat got moved and when that seat got moved, there was a couple of trainings that were already filled up in the Atlanta training. I couldn't train with my people during the day, but I was still in the hotel with them at night to do all the partying and the bonding, which is what I wanted to do.
And guess where I got trained? I got put in the UK office training. So all of when we were sitting in a classroom all day learning sequel server or something really boring, I. It was all the people from the UK and then my New York counterparts were in the classroom next door learning like Oracle server or whatever the fuck.
This is so boring. It's old. But then we were all in the same hotel, partying and doing the bonding. So a year later, when international Projects opened up in the uk, guess whose name got up on the docket? Me. Because they knew who I was, because I'd made friends with all of them because I was there for the training and my ass got sent to the uk.
Under a year of being an analyst and I lived in a five star hotel with an expense account for eight months flying first class every other week, back and forth to New York. I lived a crazy existence and that experience helped me get into business school, which by the way, people told me, you're never gonna get into business school after two years.
I was the youngest person in my class. My point is, is that never listen to what other people say is possible. Because you get to decide what's possible and they're gonna be NPCs in your way who are gonna try to stop you. Be a Chris Jenner, say No, get on that plane, do that route, do the thing. And you know, I kind of had a reputation in the New York firm after that.
But the, negative reputation were people who didn't matter. It was with recruiting, college recruiting. I'd already gotten recruited. I don't give a fuck what they think about me. So they don't like me 'cause I went above their head. I don't blame them. Do I give a shit? No. Do they matter to the grand scheme of my life?
No. This is a harsh statement and this isn't gonna be for everybody, but the bottom line is, is like when you're trying to push forward in life, they're always gonna be NPCs who are gonna stop you. You have to be the one who decides what you want and you have to be the one that goes out and gets it.
That's what Aries is.
So that's my story. And the reason that I got tied together with a plane is because when I was one years old, I went to India. So I've only been to India a couple times, and one of them was when I was one years old. And this was very, very early on in flight. This was obviously before September 11th and security and all that.
I was was 1978, something like that. So I don't know the full story, but I got off my mom's lap. Ran down a 7 47 and opened up a pilot's door. Okay? And I think it was fine. Like I think I sat on the pallet's lap and like it was all cool, but like I was built to be, I have a lot of, you know, I varies gates, right?
And so I'm built to do shit that shocks people. Right. And that's part of my configuration, that's part of my human design, and that's part of what I am able to catalyze in others now. Now I'm older, I use it to serve others versus piss people off. But you get what I'm trying to say. One is own your design.
Two is MPCs, and three is initiative. So backwards to go forward. So that was 1999 and that was the last time that Saturn was in Aries and. Do I have any regrets about that? No. Did that baby know that you're not supposed to open the pilot's door? No. Did that dumbass, who was like 22 years old, know any better if I had known she was the managing director?
Of course I wouldn't have done that, but I didn't know any better. I just, people said she was in charge, so I just asked her and it worked.
So, you know, in the, one of the episodes I talked about, you know, the more you know the less you grow, something like that. And I talked about YouTube and I talked about how I was overanalyzing all this stuff.
We get so wrapped up in what matters and what doesn't matter and what we should do and what we shouldn't do. And we get talked into that by the industry and coaches and, and some of it's right and some of it's not right. And some of it's like what, you know, what's right for you and all that. And sometimes
just do the damn thing. And that's initiative. And sometimes there're gonna be people tell you, well no, you can't do that because you gotta do this first. And you know, that's not really possible. Why? Why? The people who told me I couldn't get into graduate school for four years are the ones that took four years.
I took two years. Like I said, I was the youngest person in my class, and I applied right after September 11th, which is one of the hardest years to get into graduate school because nobody in New York had a job. So you have to be 10 times better. So I just decided this is what was going to happen and I made
it happen.
I'm a defined heart, so I have that configuration in my chart, but. The point is, is that I have that configuration to do stuff like I did, so I can come on a mic and tell you about it so that I can kind of inspire you to, you're not gonna do things my way, but I want you to encourage you to not be afraid to take an initiative.
Don't not be afraid to be a C Jenner. , Not be afraid to run down that runway and open up the pilot store. I'm kidding. Don't do that, that you're gonna get arrested, but like, ask the person, email that person, pitch that show. Get on YouTube. Fuck it. The people who are gonna tell you that you can't, don't matter, and the people that matter are cheering you on.
I'm cheering you on. Hopefully you enjoyed my little story.
And so what's the takeaway for you? So, like I said, you gotta figure out what you want. You gotta ignore what other people who are projecting upon you, what didn't work for them. You gotta find out what works for you. Getting something done often is less about how you ask.
It's about who you ask. And. Also don't get in your head about what's possible. The less you're gonna get in your head about what's possible, the more you're gonna take action. And like I said, Aries has a low side, so sometimes taking action without thinking can be really problematic. But when we overthink things, we overanalyze things.
Or we know too much, which often happens in entrepreneurship, especially any entrepreneur who comes from a business world, a corporate world, you're programmed, right? So you gotta deprogram that, right? And that's what this is. So the people who often are gonna tell you that something isn't gonna work is either because it didn't work for them or because they didn't try it themselves.
So what I want you to take from these stories is like when you take in expert advice, when you take in other people's opinions, you gotta put it through your own lens first, and you gotta take initiative on what you want.
