Hey everyone, welcome back to the Aligned Alchemist. On this first of the month, we're diving into the power of the one line, the power of foundations and the unique challenges and benefits that it brings. You're going to hear personal stories about building a business foundation, get practical exercises to assess your readiness for big decisions and learn why sometimes taking your time is the fastest path to success.

Whether or not you're a one line, this episode will help you navigate the pressure to rush and will give you the permission to build something truly aligned to who you are and where you are on your journey.

My name is Sunitha and I am a human design informed business strategist and energy guide. The purpose of this episode off the jump is on foundations.

And if you're new to the show and are wondering where I've been,  It's all part of the theme of this show and we'll talk about that at the end so I can get right to the value.

This episode is really about learning how to honor your unique foundation and why it really can be the game changer in your business and life.  And this particular  episode is inspired by one of you guys, Julie, Julie, who took advantage of the text option in the show notes, which I encourage all of you guys to do, to leave me a great piece of feedback.

And I'd love to share it with you. She said, Hi Sunita, I'm really enjoying your show. I like how you get down to business. No fluff. Just good insight and info. It's working for my one line. Thank you so much. Thank you Julie from California, a place that I lived for almost a decade and miss greatly.

Especially the weather. And, , really, really appreciate that because I'm new on my journey with this podcast and getting that kind of feedback really helps me to course correct or to know that I'm on the right path with you guys. And so definitely want to take this opportunity to encourage you guys to utilize that to ask questions, leave feedback,  I'll do Q& A episodes in the future, all those kind of things.

Those are completely anonymous. I only get what you share with me. if you are going to leave something positive, I'd love for you to leave a review. I've given you instructions on how to do that in the show notes because that's really what helps this podcast grow.

But obviously I'll get all the messages you give me.  I can't reply.   So I don't have any of your personal information. Don't worry about that. So Julie's a one line  and And what that inspired for me is to go back to something that I'd said in a prior episode.

I'm starting this out, things are not going to be perfect, it is what it is. And I had edited some of the first episodes. And so in one of the first episodes, I had talked about  my thoughts on human design certifications and why I was not that keen on them and the truth behind them. And that episode is episode three.

And I'll link that in the show notes. And  one of the sections that I'd cut out when I  edited the final version which took a while to get up through Apple stuff, is I had mentioned I'm a 5'1 and I'd mentioned my feelings on certifications and why I felt that they were brainwashing.

Piece  that got cut out is they are especially problematic for one lines.  If you are not familiar with the profile lines, I have a quick and dirty YouTube video on what the profile lines are. I'll link that below. Most of you guys, I think have some idea of the profile lines. If you're at the point where you're using human design in business, but profile lines are, you know, last episode when we talked about branding and I mentioned the sun and I said, there's that sun on the cover and sun is your purpose in human design and astrology.

Well, your profile is how you live that purpose on earth. Your profile lines are a big part of your business positioning, and they're how you show up in the world. We'll do profile lines in depth later, but  the one line is a very common to have is either a conscious or an unconscious, and I'm a 5 1.

And as a  1, we really like to feel like we have a foundation. That is part of who we are, and that is part of what makes us us, and that is also part of our brand and part of our authority.  However, there can be a dangerous side to that, which is that  We never feel like we know enough. We  will always take certifications and

And that can  lead to analysis paralysis  and  a lot of research.  And it can be a lot of brainwashing in the coaching industry, particularly because a lot of this industry is female.  I don't know if you've ever heard that statistic that, you  men will apply to a job when they have, you know, maybe.

80 percent of the qualifications and women will only apply when they have 100 percent of the qualifications. So that translates into entrepreneurship as well and it holds us back. And so this isn't about certifications or not. One lines feel good with certifications. I mentioned in my  Episode that I believe got cut out is that if I had discovered human design in my  30s or 20s Which is probably most people in the human design space versus my 40s  I would have been One of those people so this is not to say that if you feel like that's what you need or that's the stage you're in On your path that you shouldn't get them But just know that it is playing to a large percentage of the population That feels like they're never gonna know enough and don't understand what an authority they already are

remember with the profile lines, and I explained it in that video, the profile lines come from the Chinese hexagram, which are six lines. Think of a line of thinking of a house. So the one line is literally the foundation for the house. And they're actually really important for building a foundation. for building a business, for building a career, for building anything, including confidence.

And we tend to be the researchers. But we also tend to be people who never open our mouths  until we are have external validation that we know what we're talking about.

And it can get pretty Into a gray area, and you don't have to be a one line, you know, you can go to any free site for human design and get a free report that will tell you your profile. And a lot of people are gonna have a one line in their profile. It's just the way it is, is majority of people have five threes and ones, .

So it's very likely that you're gonna have a one line in your profile.   The flip side of that  is that the one is the foundation. Now you don't have to be a one line to want to honor your foundation. Your foundation is your bread and butter in life. It can be a financial foundation. It can be a foundation of support.

It can be a foundation of knowledge. It can be whatever you need to feel grounded and confident. And one of the biggest lessons that I've learned  about entrepreneurship.  and business  in all my twists and turns, mistakes and successes,  is that when you have a foundation you're confident with, you're unshakable.

And that's a big part  what the underlying message behind the Aligned Alchemist is about, is that I want you to be unshakable in the way that you  think about your business decisions and in the choices you make.  Going back to what I said earlier, it's not that you're going to do everything right.

It's that I want you to be able to look back and  be like, you know what?  I did that because that was the right decision at the time and I have trust in myself. And then you build that trust over time and then you are more resilient when things  don't go as planned.  So that's it. We need that foundation and one lines need that foundation more and as a one line, it's a big part of our brand to have that  authority and to have that foundation and we're going to rely on that more,  but   it's also important to you.

Really think about  what does your customer need or what does your prospect need to really trust you? Is it a degree? Is it a testimonial? Is it a fancy website?  Is it the way they communicate? Remember, business energetics has nothing to do with the external. It's the confidence that you show up with.

People can feel my authority because I've been there done that and I know it and only you are going to know when you have that confidence.  And so,  it's.  something that you  are going to   know that's right for you. And every single business is going to be different.  Every, every one line out there is going to be different. The rest of your charts different. The rest of your business is different. Your target avatar is different and all of those things. But what does your client need?

Because too often  in the realm of generic business advice or given like, Oh, clients don't care about testimonials. Clients don't care about a fancy website.  , just get started. Messy action.  In Perfect Perfect,  these are taglines and isms, and they're a great social media quote, and they're a great Instagram  graphic, and they get likes.

But what does that actually mean?

Just a quick story is that when I started my first online business, I've been an entrepreneur.  Almost 14 years.  If you can believe that, but I  was a marketing contractor and a consultant, definitely self employed for the first couple  years.

My first real online business was I was a health coach, a holistic health coach, and I'll talk about that more when  how the different businesses have played into really helping me understand that, wow, this stuff is real because I can apply my human design to so many different businesses and see that, wow, it really fits.

I was an online health coach for women with a particular hormonal  imbalance that I have.  And this was  10 years ago,  a decade, more than a decade.  , I started that business in the fall of 2013  and  at that time we didn't have social media like we do now. And  there were  less ways for customers to get to know you or prospects to get to know you. There was no social media. YouTube wasn't a big thing or if it was, it was just  people who really just YouTubers, video people, podcasts were not a big thing. I mean, think about the ways that you can learn about a person's vibe.

They're.  level of understanding, their  authority, whatever that means to you as a prospect, there's so many different ways. And so nowadays you might not really need a website. Now as a one line, I want a website and I'm building one when the time is right, but  I don't really need one to succeed in business and you don't really need a website for people to know who you are.

There are other practical, tactical reasons, SEO,  more real estate online, etc, etc. A great, a great place to house all of your stuff. And if you're a one line, you're going to want that anyway, especially if you're a sacral being, because you're here to build. A lot of people who suggest you don't need a website are projectors.

A lot of coaches are projectors. I've said that before. Sacral beings build differently. We do things differently and that's why I work. with them exclusively at this time because I feel like a lot of the business advice out there is not geared for generators. The working world is geared for generators and manifesting generators because we build things and we're worker bees and we have the sacral energy to work the consistent workday that has been set in place by the manufacturing industry.

But when it comes to entrepreneurship,  It's all about pivoting and going quickly and figuring out as you go and throwing spaghetti at the wall . And that's not how we build. We build through mastery. , the bottom line is, is back in the day, you really, really needed a website because that was kind of one of the only ways people are going to find out about you.

And it was my first online business. I was coming from the branding world.  I work with the biggest brands out there, 20, 30 big brands in my career, and I was  coming from the biggest ad agencies in New York City. So my clients were big deals. And so I was not going to be able to throw up a piece of crap online.

Back in the day where, again, I mentioned it in some of my other content where I talked about, you know, the old school bro marketing, it was very click funnels  and a lot of like bro marketers, the stuff looked like garbage. It was all about.  It's, you know, psychology to get you to click.

It wasn't about having a pretty brand online.  And so there was a lot of brainwashing out there about you don't need a website, do you know to spend money on a website, just get some clients first, and then you know, blah, blah, blah. And there's truth to that if that speaks to you. But what I did, and again, I knew nothing about my human design, I don't think anybody even knew what human design was 10 years ago, except very few people, I was like, No, I'm going to do this right.

And I spent 3, 000 on a website. It wasn't super fancy, it was through WordPress, and it looked good. And now as a perfectionist, I didn't think it looked good, but I got a lot of positive feedback from people from my MBA world when they saw it because I shared it with everyone I knew back then.  And here's the point.

The point is, is that this was a very short lived business because I learned early on what I like to do and what I didn't like to do and that has to do with circuitry and business models that fit us and we'll get into all that as we go through the season. But the point of that is, is that  I did Facebook ads.

I just come from the digital marketing world, so I understood how to do ads. Ads were cheaper back then. It was very targeted. It was very targeted, a condition  and I was able to profitably get, , people fairly quickly. Well, the first two people who clicked on my ad decided to work with me.

And  both of them were quote premium clients. . It wasn't that expensive. It was 500 a month for three months. So it was a total of three grand.  Both of them were business owners.  And both of them told me that the reason they picked me is because they were impressed by my website.  So  the bottom line is, is that you know yourself best.

You know when you are procrastinating and doing over analysis and researching because you are afraid to put yourself out there because of whatever block you have.  If you have some type of self awareness  and you know when you are  sharpening the ax.    Getting clear on  which is which.

And I'm not saying you're always going to get this right,  but this is just something for you to think about. And two quick questions I want to give you   number one, where are you holding yourself back because you don't think you know enough?

This is true of whether or not you're a one line or not. And number two, where are you allowing people to rush you?  Just think about that in life,  in business,  in anything.  Where are you holding yourself back because you don't think you know enough?  And where are you allowing people to rush you?  As we get further down into the podcast season and we start to talk more about deconditioning and centers and where we're influenced,  I think it's gonna be interesting for you to have answered these questions and then to really understand where are you taking in conditioning in your life or where have you been allowing conditioning to determine the pace at which and the decisions at which you run your business.

And I said I would end with a little bit of a roundup of where I've been. Well,  there were some,  medical things that happened. Ironically, in the last episode when I told you guys about how I changed the name when the Schumann residence spiked, well, I don't know if you guys know this. I'm recording this in July in 2024.  You guys know this has been kind of a crazy month energetically, events wise, etc.

Well, the Schumann residence was off the charts again, and I broke out in hives again. And so I had some medical stuff that kept me away. But when I took a step back, I realized.  I didn't really have my stuff dialed in in the way that I wanted to for this podcast, for the goals I have for this podcast and all of this stuff.

And so I'm taking a step back, I'm reinforcing my foundation and I'm coming back in the way that I want to come back.  You know, I was trying to follow shoulds of  telling you guys what to expect  in the next episode and the next thing and that's not going to work for me because I'm just going to deliver value on every episode.

I'm going to make sure you know what to expect. You can expect on every episode before you decide if it's worth your time, I'm gonna always try to provide actionable stories, practical advice and examples that you can take away and additional resources besides this podcast that allow you to learn more or work with me one-on-one, or join one of my groups which are coming,  and I'm gonna try to keep it  to the point to value your time, but   this early in the journey, this podcast is finding its feet. It's finding its foundation and we're going to allow it to go with the flow. I can tell you for sure that podcasts will be roughly weekly.  And I can tell you that what I said in one of the earlier episodes about having guests that are experts and people I'm really excited about having a mix of guests and myself and that this will be a seasonal podcast. So how long the season will run, I'm not 100 percent sure.

When I have  more clarity on that and exactly what the theme for the season wants to be, I will share that with you. Again, taking you along on the ground floor, on the foundation, as I build this brand in line with my design, in line with everything I've talked to you about already.

And you guys may or may not know this, but I chose to release the podcast on Thursdays because Thursdays are Thor's day. They are Jupiter's day and Jupiter is exalted in cancer. I have Jupiter in cancer and cancer is intuition and cancer is flow. So it's very important to go with the flow in business and in life in your own timing.

That's what this podcast is about.  I trust that if you're listening to this podcast you get it  and in line with that I highly encourage you if you have some time when you grab a piece of paper

I know a lot of you guys listen to podcasts on walks or driving or while you're doing housework or errands, but when you grab a second, maybe you're standing in line and you've got your phone in front of you, even better yet  journal with a piece of paper, which is the best way that your subconscious speaks to you, is really think about those two questions that I asked earlier.

Number one, where do you feel like you are being rushed in business unnecessarily? Really, really logically, where are you being rushed to do something that doesn't really need to be rushed? And where do you feel that you can't share because you don't know enough?  You might be surprised at the answers that come out.

It may be a lot of not self and conditioning coming out that is not actually you. And as we travel down the path , we're going to get more into deconditioning, not self centers, all this stuff that I talked about.  I've also got some exciting stuff to be bringing you guys that I want to make sure is prepared before I come back to you,  that's going to help you really feel confident in ensuring that  the decisions you are making are your own and that they are on time and in line with where you are going. Because when we get off the path  or we rush the path, we miss the synchronicities along the way, we  miss the signposts along the way.

I mentioned earlier that as sacral beings we build differently  and generators and manifesting generators are going to build slightly different and very soon I'll do an entire episode about manifesting generators either here or on my YouTube channel.  Manifesting generators are a bit faster, but we're here to develop mastery and we're here to do it our own way.

own way. And it is very challenging for us  to course correct. And so rushing things so that we have to rebuild is of no use to us and it's no use to our projects. It is better for us to build that foundation,  to take our time,  and  to do both.  So again,  highly encourage you to do that stuff.  And if you come up with any insights or ahas, share them with us.

text them to me. Again, like I said, you don't have to share your name. You don't have to share anything about yourself.  Let's make this an interactive discussion. I find that we are really all much the same person with slight differences. differences. So, share them with me.

Remember that you are an expert on your own journey. Trust yourself, honor your pace, and keep building that foundation one aligned step at a time. Thank you so much for listening to the Aligned Alchemist. Much more to come, and I'll see you on the next one.
